CLAY PIGEON SHOOTING
Standing on a beautiful island, the sea in the distance, panoramic views all around with France and neighbouring Alderney Island visible on clear days, shotgun against your shoulder as you carefully take aim… there are surely few things more James Bond than that. So if perfecting your shooting skills on a remote island getaway appeals to you, an activity not to be missed is clay shooting with the island’s very own Gold Medallist, Nick Dewe.
Nick has 20 years’ experience shooting clay targets on Sark and in the UK and Europe. He has represented Sark at clay target shooting in the Island Games since 2003, winning 2 Golds, 5 Silvers and 2 Bronze medals, as well as representing Guernsey at the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne.
